Next Generation Tourney at Sunset DGC

​The morning started off great with warmups and I was feeling pretty good. This tourney I decided to enter into Advanced for the first time. I decided to try this division out and challenge myself a little more.  I started out on the first hole ok but on the second hole, I ended up going double OB and carded a 7 for the hole. Ouch. I tried to shake it off best I could but I think I let it get to me enough to affect my game in the first round. I ended up finishing with a +5 for the round. I was definitely disappointed with my play for that round. 

I took lunch and left and went to eat with a friend to clear my mind of the first round. I came back with a good attitude and ready to have fun no matter the outcome. I finished stronger than my first round at even for the second round putting me at +5 for the tourney. 

I had plenty missed opportunities and know I could have performed better. I took a lot from this tourney and kept a good attitude throughout the tourney.  

I had a great time and think the tourney was well ran as Basket Bashers got some nice coverage thru signage placed throughout the course and multiple shoutouts and the players meeting and award results. Thank you for always helping me by supporting my dream. I take my lumps as learning opportunities and look to only grow as a better person and golfer and look forward to the next opportunity to improve and perform.
